-Observant- Pays attention to surroundings for anything, and I mean anything, that may be wrong.
-Military Experience- being a former Marine, he knows the basics of navigation, field medic, and explosives.
Personality Traits
Appearance:
-MEDICAL HISTORY: Scott had to have major surgery to replace parts of his lungs and liver after being rescued.
-SCARS: Across torso from being tortured in Fallujah.
-TATTOOS:
-Semper Fidelis across his back.
-Has a skull over two M-16’s with the words; “U.S. Marines, Mess With The Best, Die Like The Rest” on right shoulder.
Personality: Scott tends to distance himself from others because of past experiences. He seems to have a cold, non-caring personality until he gets to know you. He has no care in the world when it comes to his life, but that doesn’t mean he’s suicidal, he’ll just do whatever it takes to complete his mission. He feels at home with danger; if you want a man to send into a highly infected area, it’s him.
Also he plays poker with the Grimm Reaper and the recently deceased souls he brings with him every Thursday night.
History: Scott was a master at a dojo before his fallout with his parents. Scott had an argument with his parents about joining the armed forces. Both his parents told him it was a stupid idea and that the government was brainwashing him to do this, then after his mother died, his father became an alcoholic and abused him. His brother was 19 and decided to leave his brother for all the beatings. Scott made the decision to runaway and live his dream. He was lucky enough to find a recruiter that welcomed him and let him enlist.
Driven by the desire to never see either his brother or father again, Scott graduated in the top of his class. Later he was deployed a tour in Iraq in 1990 . During his tour, his unit was ambushed during a routine patrol of Fallujah, besides himself, two others survived the attack and were taken prisoner. He was Honorably Discharged after being rescued from Fallujah. During his time as a POW, he was tortured and still carries the scars. After his discharge in '92, Scott, was asked to join S.T.A.R.S. because of his military experience.
After joining S.T.A.R.S., he was quickly recognized as the leader of any team he was placed in. Though he prefers to stay as a point man, he occasionally took the role as the leader. He was never comfortable with the leader position since Fallujah, where he lost his whole platoon. He was a four year S.T.A.R.S. veteran when Mayor Harris asked him to join the RPD branch. Looking for a new life, he happily accepted. Being an original member since it's formation, Scott was charged in training newcomers with his Marine knowledge, unless they had former military experience. Now every member of S.T.A.R.S. is trained in at least two ways of the United States Armed Forces.
